Brick Court: The barristers of Brexit

The Lawyer,  6/2/2019

In a fifth-floor meeting room at Brick Court Chambers, sat at a table awash with the white, blue and yellow bulk-order boxes ordered in from neighbouring sandwich shop, Birleys, Aidan Robertson QC is increasingly personifying the latter emotion as he discusses the areas of law set to be most affected after Britain quits the EU, on (or possibly at some time after) 29 March. The silk of 10 years is animated, yet he maintains his composure as he carefully lays out the possibilities along with five of his Brick Court colleagues – Lord Anderson KBE QC, Victoria Wakefield QC, Sarah Abram, Zahra Al-Rikabi and Aaron Khan – all of whom also weigh in with views on the nation’s future.
