Peter Brunner

Peter Brunner has appeared in a broad range of disputes, both with and without a leader, in the House of Lords, the Court of Appeal, the Commercial Court, the Chancery Division, the Queen’s Bench Division and the Technology and Construction Court. In addition he has been involved in many arbitrations, and has represented clients in mediations.

His most recent work includes M&J Polymers Ltd v Imerys Ltd (a substantial claim in the Commercial Court for breach of a long-term supply agreement, involving the issue whether a take or pay clause in the agreement could be regarded as a penalty clause) and Motherwell Bridge Construction Ltd v Micafil Vakuumtechnik AG (a six week trial in the TCC involving complex issues of design change and delay in a claim by a sub-contractor against the main contractor).

Peter Brunner has also conducted well over fifty depositions, principally for use in the courts of the United States.
