21/10/2009 - Telecom regulator secures favourable commitments in price bundling case

ComReg, the communications regulator in Ireland, secured very favourable commitments on price bundling practices by the incumbent operator, Eircom, in compliance proceedings before the High Court.  Eircom agreed to withdraw certain bundled products that did not, in ComReg's view, comply with Eircom's regulatory obligations and to effectively pre-notify other bundles raising similar issues.
