Kelyn Bacon appointed QC

Brick Court Chambers is pleased to announce that Kelyn Bacon has been appointed QC in the 2013/2014 competition.

Kelyn was called to the bar in 1998 and was a pupil at Brick Court Chambers.  She has an extensive practice in EU and competition law and has appeared in numerous landmark cases in the domestic and European Courts.  Recent experience has included the Gaviscon and Servier competition damages actions, the Franked Investment Income group litigation, and the Addison Lee case.  Kelyn is also the general editor and co-author of the leading practitioner text European Union Law of State Aid, the second edition of which was published last autumn. Chambers & Partners included her in their list of the Top 100 Juniors in 2013 and she is consistently recognised in both Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 as a leading practitioner.

The swearing in ceremony will take place on 14th April 2014.
