Maya in numerous cases challenging sanctions before EU and UK Courts, and organised conference at NYU on targeted sanctions

Maya Lester is acting in a number of cases pending before the General Court and Court of Justice in Luxembourg, for individuals and entities designated in restrictive measures against terrorism (the Kadi case) and in sanctions measures against Iran, Zimbabwe, Tunisia, Syria, and Burma/Myanmar. She has just organised an international conference to discuss issues relating to the rule of law and targeted sanctions in the United Nations, European Union, USA and United Kingdom at NYU Law School, New York, in June 2012.
