Professor Robert McCorquodale joins Brick Court Chambers

Brick Court Chambers is pleased to announce that Professor Robert McCorquodale has joined chambers as a door tenant.

Professor McCorquodale is the Director of the British Institute of International and Comparative Law, and a distinguished senior legal academic with a particular expertise in public international law. At BIICL he created the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law, and he is also Professor of International Law and Human Rights at the University of Nottingham. He is a Co-General Editor of the International and Comparative Law Quarterly and has authored numerous books and articles, as well as assisting in drafting constitutions and providing training in international legal issues around the world.

Prior to his academic career, Professor McCorquodale worked as a solicitor with leading law firms in Sydney and London. He was called to the Bar in July 2011 by Middle Temple.
