Andrew Le Sueur is a door tenant. From 2006-2009 he was the Legal Adviser to the House of Lords Select Committee on the Constitution, advising on all aspects of constitutional law and practice. He has acted as specialist adviser to other UK parliamentary committees.

He is Professor of Constitutional Justice at the University of Essex. Previously he was Professor of Public Law at Queen Mary, University of London (2006-13), Barber Professor of Jurisprudence at the University of Birmingham (2001-06) and taught at UCL (1988-2000).
