Other Applicants - Shorter, Non-practising pupillages and third sixes

We do on occasion offer pupillages for exceptional practitioners who qualify for exemption by the Bar Standards Board from the requirement to complete a 12 month pupillage or those not intending to practise at the English Bar. The procedures and terms differ from those applicable to applicants for 12 month practising pupillages. Chambers' policy is to recruit new tenants from among its own pupils. As such we do not normally offer third six-month pupillages. Any vacancies for third sixes as may be offered will be advertised on this site.
