Attorney General appoints Marie Demetriou KC to newly formed Senior Treasury Counsel Group

The Attorney General has today announced the appointment of Marie Demetriou KC to the newly formed Senior Treasury Counsel Group. The Members of the STCG will share responsibility with the First Treasury Counsel in providing strategic direction and acting on the Government’s most significant civil litigation. This appointment reflects Marie’s leading practice in the fields of competition law, EU law, public law and human rights.  She will continue with her private practice alongside this appointment.
