Brick Court Chambers is delighted to announce that Camilla Cockerill has joined as a tenant.

Camilla has a wide-ranging practice spanning competition law, commercial law and public international law.

Camilla is often instructed in high-profile and complex litigation, with an international dimension. She is currently instructed in two of the largest opt-out collective proceedings against Google in the Competition Appeal Tribunal and successfully defended two fund services providers in a 7-week civil fraud trial at the end of last year (led by Richard Blakeley KC). From February to June 2024 and January to March 2025, Camilla worked as seconded external counsel at the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office, where she was involved in a range of public international law matters.

Prior to coming to the bar, Camilla worked in Slaughter and May’s London and Brussels offices, where she worked on the first standalone competition damages claims issued under the opt-out collective proceedings regime.

Camilla commented: “I am delighted to be joining Brick Court. It is a fantastic set and I look forward to working alongside many of the leading practitioners in my areas of practice.”

Helen Davies KC, Joint Head of Chambers commented: “We are very pleased to welcome Camilla to Brick Court. She will add yet further strength to our excellent juniors across chambers' core practice areas.”
