Claimants resist Argentina’s strike-out application

Mrs Justice Cockerill has handed down her Judgment in Palladian Partners, L.P. and others v The Republic of Argentina and another, concerning a claim for amounts alleged to be due by the Republic of Argentina under certain Euro denominated Securities issued by the Republic. The Claimants successfully resisted the Republic’s attempt to strike out the claim, which will now proceed to trial.
