CMA reaches settlement in furniture parts investigation

The CMA has reached a settlement with two firms in its investigation into a cartel in the market for the supply of furniture parts.  Thomas Armstrong (Timber) Ltd and Hoffmann Thornwood Ltd agreed to pay fines in connection with breaches of competition law in the markets for the supply of drawer components for use in office and domestic furniture.  As a result of the settlement, the fines imposed on these businesses have been reduced by 20%.
