Cyprus Court freezes $820m of Ukrainian oligarch’s assets after Brick Court Chambers obtain a $860m London arbitral award for Ukrainian banker

Neil Calver QC and Tom Pascoe (instructed by Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP) acted for Raga in its successful LCIA arbitration against SCM, whereby the three-member London arbitral tribunal made an order in favour of Raga in the sum of $860 million after a contested 5 day hearing.  Stephen Midwinter QC  acted at earlier stages of the proceedings.  Daniel Jowell QC also acted at an interim stage prior to the arbitration.

Andrew Henshaw QC acted for Raga in relation to its follow-on proceedings in Cyprus and its application for a freezing order.
