David Anderson QC to step down after two terms as Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation

David Anderson QC announced on 31 March that he would not be seeking a third term as Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation.  His six years’ service in that part-time but demanding post will therefore come to an end in early 2017, releasing more of his time for the practice of law from Brick Court Chambers.
