Dr Chintan Chandrachud awarded India-UK Achievers Award

27/01/23

At a ceremony held on the eve of India’s Republic Day, Dr Chintan Chandrachud received an India-UK Achievers Award. Chintan was the only barrister (and one of six lawyers) to receive this award.

To celebrate 75 years of India's independence and India-UK educational ties, 75 young Indian achievers who have studied in the UK were honoured as part of the India UK Achievers Honours, an initiative of the National Indian Students and Alumni Union UK in partnership with the British Council in India and supported by the UK Government Department for International Trade. The Achievers Honours recognise and celebrate the contributions made by the UK's Indian alumni and students in their fields and society.

The ceremony was held in central London and was preceded by a reception at the House of Commons.
