First Brick Court Chambers Public Law Lecture

22/04/10

On 22nd April 2010 Brick Court Chambers held their first Public Law Lecture in memory of Lord Alexander of Weedon QC.  Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers, President of The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, presented the lecture titled: The art of the possible:  statutory interpretation and human rights.  Sir Sydney Kentridge chaired the evening which finished with drinks and canapés.

The evening was adjudged a great success with a capacity turnout in The Inner Temple Hall.

This is the first of what is hoped will become annual public law lectures in future years.
