George Leggatt QC appointed a High Court Judge

It has been announced that George Leggatt QC has been appointed a High Court Judge, sitting in the Queen's Bench Division.

He has been a member of Brick Court Chambers since 1985 practising extensively in commercial law. In 2008 he was authorised to sit as a Deputy High Court Judge.

He will commence sitting on the 29th October and be sworn in before the Lord Chief Justice on the 30th October at 16.30.
