James Wolffe QC named Legal Personality of the Year at the Law Awards of Scotland

James Wolffe QC won the Legal Personality of the Year category last week at the Law Awards of Scotland.  This award recognises those who define the way the law is perceived by the public and those outside the legal profession. He commented, “The law and the legal profession play a crucial role in underpinning a just and economically successful Scotland".

James is Dean of the Faculty of Advocates, and recognised as one of the leading silks at the Scottish bar, with a practice in both public and commercial law.  He has appeared in the UK Supreme Court, the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council and the House of Lords as well as the Scottish civil and criminal courts at all levels.
