Jennifer MacLeod and Jagoda Klimowicz jointly shortlisted for Advocate of the Year at the Women & Diversity in Law Awards 2026

Jennifer MacLeod and Jagoda Klimowicz have been jointly shortlisted for Advocate of the Year at the Women & Diversity in Law Awards 2026. The Advocate of the Year award is awarded to those who have made “an exceptional contribution to the legal profession through the quality of their legal work backed up by a commitment to furthering D&I.”

Jennifer and Jagoda are shortlisted for their work on the Sparman Inquest, in which the Coroner held the suicide of Ms Sparman was caused by justifiable feelings of abuse by her ex-partner and neglect by an NHS Trust (more information here). Jennifer and Jagoda acted pro bono on behalf of the family, instructed by Hogan Lovells LLP.
