Klaus Reichert SC elected to council of IBA Legal Practice Division and appointed to committee to revise SCC Rules

Klaus Reichert SC has been elected to the council of the IBA’s Legal Practice Division, for a four year term.  The council of 18 oversees the activities of all IBA practice committees.

He is joined by two other newly elected members including former senior co-chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee, Eduardo Zuleta of GPZ Abogados.

The election took place during the recent IBA conference in Tokyo.

Klaus was also recently appointed to a committee of The Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, one of the major international arbitration centres in the World, to revise the SCC Rules.  He will look at both the SCC Rules for Arbitration and the SCC Rules for Expedited Arbitration with a committee of 18 other arbitration specialists.
