Mark Howard QC and Michael Bools QC successfully represent FIA in “Tyregate” hearing

Mark Howard QC and Michael Bools QC successfully represented the FIA in the "Tyregate" hearing. The hearing before the FIA Tribunal took place in Paris on 20th June. The proceedings were commenced to determine the status of 3 days of track testing that was undertaken by the Mercedes Formula 1 team and Pirelli the tyre manufacturers. The Tribunal in its written findings found that the testing was in breach of the FIA rules and reprimanded both Mercedes Formula 1 Team and Pirelli.
