Brick Court Chambers is pleased to announce that Michael Bools and Marie Demetriou have been appointed QC in the 2011/12 competition.

Michael Bools was called to the bar in 1991, then completed a Doctorate before joining chambers in 1997. He practises in all areas of commercial law . The Legal 500 2011 described him as "the top barrister for all-round academic brilliance, ease to work with and sense of humour under extreme stress." (Legal 500 2011)

Marie Demetriou was called to the bar in 1995 and practises primarily in EU, Competition, Public and Human Rights law. Chambers & Partners 2012 noted "Instructing solicitors are gushing in their praise of Marie Demetriou. Fantastically bright, and a pleasure to work with." (Chambers & Partners 2012)

The swearing in ceremony will take place on 30th March.
