New Deputy High Court Judge appointed

The Lord Chief Justice has appointed Martin Chamberlain QC a part time Deputy High Court Judge under s. 9(4) of the Senior Courts Act 1981.  The part-time appointment was made on the recommendation of the Judicial Appointments Commission following a competition. It is for a fixed period of four years.

Martin will sit in the Queen's Bench Division for up to 30 days per year.  He will continue to practise, specialising in public law, human rights and EU law, as before.
