Warrants to search business premises granted by the CAT

The Competition Appeal Tribunal, chaired by Saini J, has today released judgment providing reasons for the grant of four warrants under section 28(1) of the Competition Act 1998 at a hearing on 18 June 2026.    

The Tribunal granted four warrants relating to suspected unlawful conduct (with the features of market sharing, price fixing and enforcement) in the supply of Solidworks, a package of computer-aided design and engineering software.
