Together with Alix Partners and Hausfeld, Brick Court hosts the Collective Actions Symposium. During an afternoon chaired by Sir Gerald Barling, former President of the Competition Appeal Tribunal, two expert panels of lawyers, barristers, economists and funders will share their views from the claimant as well as defendant perspectives. In a third panel, and for the first time ever, we bring together several class representatives to gain first-hand insight in their experience of the UK collective actions regime thus far.
Panel 1. Lessons learned about bringing collective actions before the CAT to date, and how this may help shape the future
Panel 2. How can the regime evolve to deal with challenges
Panel 3. Perspectives from consumer champions and class representatives in bringing collective actions
