Insurers ‘must be clear on war cover’

In written submissions, Simon Salzedo KC and Alec Haydon KC, instructed by Clyde & Co, said that the sabotage of the pipelines could have been undertaken by Ukraine, Russia, Ukraine sub-state actors or even the US. Insurers argued the exclusion clause was engaged whichever of these was responsible.
