Brick Court Chambers honoured in the 2015 Global Legal Awards by The American Lawyer

On July 15, The American Lawyer and its parent company ALM Media announced the honorees of their second annual Global Legal Awards.  These involved looking at cross-border legal work from M&A, corporate finance and litigation, to global pro bono and citizenship efforts.

In the category Global Dispute of the Year: UK Litigation, the winning case was UBS v. Leipzig Water Authority (“KWL”) and Brick Court Chambers was made an honoree.  This case was tried in the English Commercial Court over three months in 2014.  Tim Lord QC, Simon Salzedo QC, Stephen Midwinter and Craig Morrison of Brick Court Chambers acted for the Leipzig Water Authority, instructed by Addleshaw Goddard.  Richard Slade QC, Jonathan Dawid and Ed Harrison of Brick Court Chambers appeared for UBS, instructed by Mayer Brown.
