Second Edition of Fraud and Breach of Warranty Published

The second edition of Fraud and Breach of Warranty: Buyers’ Claims and Sellers’ Defences, written by Simon Salzedo KC, Andrew McIntyre and Sophie Shaw, has been published by Bloomsbury Professional.

Fraud and Breach of Warranty is a practitioner’s guide to bringing and defending claims arising out of the sale of a business. Such claims can straddle contract, tort and equity and frequently give rise to difficult issues such as the proper calculation of damages, the effect of notification clauses and the availability of rescission.

Following the positive reception of the first edition in 2020, the second edition has been revised in line with voluminous recent case law, and brings the book up to date as of 31 July 2024.
