Brick Court Chambers and Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft were awarded ‘Merger Control Matter of the Year – Europe’ at last night’s GCR Awards, for the Aer Lingus/Ryanair merger case, appearing as counsel for Aer Lingus.
The ‘Merger Control Matter of the Year – Europe’ Award acknowledges creative, strategic and innovative competition work on a landmark merger control matter in Europe. Recipients of the award are nominated and voted for by GCR’s readership of competition professionals worldwide.
James Flynn QC and Daniel Piccinin were present at the ceremony in Washington DC to accept the award.
