Brick Court wins American Lawyer award

The global awards ceremony of the American Lawyer took place on 23 September 2013 at Gotham Hall, New York. Brick Court Chambers, together with instructing solicitors Skadden, received the award for Global Dispute of the Year 2013: UK litigation. The award was won for Brick Court and Skadden's role representing Mr Abramovich in the Abramovich v Berezovsky dispute.

Mr Abramovich was represented by an all-Brick Court barristers team consisting of Jonathan Sumption QC (now Lord Sumption), Helen Davies QC, Daniel Jowell QC, Andrew Henshaw (now Andrew Henshaw QC), Richard Eschwege, Craig Morrison and Edward Harrison.
