Green light for App Store CPO

In a judgment handed down on 29 June 2022, the Competition Appeal Tribunal has granted an application made by Dr Rachael Kent for an opt-out collective proceedings order in respect of claims alleging that Apple has abused its dominant positions in markets for the distribution of apps for Apple iOS devices and payments for purchases of or within such apps.
