Harry Matovu KC has been awarded an OBE in this year’s Birthday Honours List, for services to business and the legal profession.

Harry Matovu KC is a leading commercial silk and internationally recognised arbitrator, widely regarded as one of the most compelling advocates at the Bar. Alongside his distinguished practice, he is the co-founder of the Black Talent Charter, an initiative launched in 2019 to challenge entrenched misperceptions of Black talent across business and the professions. His work reflects a sustained commitment not only to excellence in advocacy, but to shaping a more equitable and representative professional landscape.
