Helen Davies QC to become Joint Head of Brick Court

Brick Court Chambers are pleased to announce the appointment of Helen Davies QC as Joint Head of Chambers, joining Jonathan Hirst QC.

Helen Davies becomes the first female Joint Head of Brick Court.  Her practice spans a number of Chambers core practice areas, with recent notable cases including Berezovsky v Abramovich, and BSKyB/FA Premier League v Ofcom. Her high-profile caseload is undertaken alongside her being a mother of two.  She also brings a considerable amount of internal administrative expertise. Her roles have variously included being the Head of the Pupillage Committee as well as sitting on the Executive Committee and Chairing the Equality & Diversity Committee.  Speaking to Legal Week in 2008, she stated "I firmly believe that if there ever was a glass ceiling at the Commercial Bar, it no longer exists."
