New appointment to the Singapore International Commercial Court

In addition to his work as an arbitrator as a member of Brick Court Chambers, Simon Thorley QC has recently been appointed as one of eleven International Judges on the newly formed Singapore International Commercial Court. Mr Thorley will hold this part time appointment for a period of 3 years with effect from  5^th January 2015. The Singapore International Commercial Court is a division of the High Court of Singapore and part of the Supreme Court of Singapore, it has been designed to deal with transnational commercial disputes in Singapore. Brick Court Chambers congratulates him on his appointment.
