New appointments to the Attorney General’s Panels of Counsel for Brick Court Chambers

From 1 March Emily MacKenzie and Jennifer MacLeod have been appointed by the Attorney General to the C Panel of Junior Counsel to the Crown, and Oliver Jones was appointed by the Attorney General to the Panel of Special Advocates in January.
Oliver has a broad practice encompassing commercial, public and international law. He regularly appears in heavyweight commercial litigation and in high-profile judicial review challenges, and also has extensive experience of international law and State immunity issues in various contexts.
Emily's practice spans administrative, public international, commercial and EU law, with particular expertise in complex human rights and judicial review claims, Francovich damages, pharmaceutical regulation, competition law and shipping.
Jennifer is regularly instructed in complex and high-profile litigation. As well as numerous appearances in the High Court, Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) and the Court of Appeal, she has also appeared in the Supreme Court, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), and other international tribunals.
