Investor success in first ICSID case against Uzbekistan

An ICSID tribunal has upheld jurisdiction against Uzbekistan in favour of investors in two cement plants, despite allegations that the investment was corrupt and broke Uzbek investment rules.  This is the first case in which jurisdiction has been established against Uzbekistan.
