Topical issues on shipbuilding disputes

The English courts and London arbitration tribunals continue to produce judgments and awards of interest, in relation to what might seem to the casual observer as a relatively simple form of contract, but which continue to throw up knotty points of law. In this Brick Court seminar Richard Lord QC, Ben Woolgar and Mark Davis (author of the Informa textbook on Refund Guarantees) address a number of topical issues of practical importance, including:

  • Illegality issues
  • Remedies for breach of contract
  • Anti-suit injunctions in a shipbuilding context
